If you are paying for your procedure with medical insurance, then you will need to liaise closely with your insurance provider before starting and throughout your treatment. Please ensure that you are aware of the terms and conditions of your policy and let us know if there are any limitations.
If you are recommended surgical treatment, you will be provided with a procedure code (CCSD- clinical coding and schedule development). You need to let your insurer know this code.
When you attend the hospital for treatment please make sure you bring the following with you:
We have an arrangement with many insurance companies which allows us to send your invoice to them electronically. However, at the end of your stay, you may receive an invoice for treatment, which together with any consultant bills should be forwarded to your insurance company.
If you don’t have all of your insurance details with you when you first come into hospital for treatment, you may be asked to settle your account in full before leaving. It is also advisable to check if you have an excess on your policy as some charges may not be settled by your insurer or third party.
